Agreed. I can see that pretty soon, I’ll be priced out of collecting. I might be able to pick up one or two every now and then, but it will be harder to justify. Even now with some figures heading toward the AU$400, it’s getting iffy. Hopefully, Popcultcha’s pennies and early bird pre-orders will allow me a few more Star Wars figures before it gets too crazy.

OT value is solid. Figures from Disney's crappy SW flicks have lost lots of value. That is the only bubble I see...

I'm actually worrying about putting down big deposits with PC these days. RotJ Luke is still MIA along with a couple of others. R2D2 and the new stormie are still no shows for PO. It seems they are geared 99% towards pop sales and that bubble has got to be close to bursting at some point.

After the blockbuster success JJ will bring with the last film in the ST these characters will be more loved then the OT ones......

Just saying , anything is possible......

There is absolutely no contest, SS one was good for its time, I enjoyed mine but a decade of toy industry progress certainly shows.

just got around to opening this figure today. Overall, I like it a lot; however, the seams on the tops of the sleeves really bugs me. The throne is magnificent and I have not even bothered to light it up just yet. All of the images I have seen of him seated on the throne look disappointing to me, but posing him with his cane, steadying himself on the throne is most likely how I will arrange my first display. He also looks AWESOME next to the royal guards

Perfect stuff for millennials who desperately need to say "I love something a whole loooooooot! I am so aliiiiiiiiive!" even if they don't have a clue what they are saying. Pure and utter superficiality. Lifeless, shallow characters, superficial relationships, and the Millennium Falcon crashing against the ground then working no-problem after decades rusting away.... (no laser deflection or dish knocked off: good old hard ground against the ship itself.... come on...)
