These pics are awesome! The more I see the more I want it.

And yes the logos have always been different. This one a bit more menacing.

This is one of the weakest exclusives ever. Figure's great though.

So is this a fanboy nitpick on the mask neckseam?

His mask should break lower around his neck, right?
More at the bottom of his neck rather than the top.

The movie design varies from shot to shot, of course, but he's not wearing a turtleneck like the HT fig appears:

Still looks pretty sweet . . . I didn't expect a detachable cloth head.

But give me his Ditko red-and-blues any day over this design.
And the Sandman base looks like late-90s ToyBiz. :horror

Finally a CU showing the head/neck attachment. Was it worth it for the TM HS? Good to have it with this figure I guess, but I'm glad they didn't take this approach with the R&B suit.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys: - MMS165 - Spider-Man (black costume version) Official Specs and Pi

That suit was ____ing brilliant.

:exactly: and still is. New one looks interesting but ___y overal.
Still wish there was part 4 of the Raimis SP :monkey2

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys: - MMS165 - Spider-Man (black costume version) Official Specs and Pi

Is it just me or has the new suit almost always looked terrible in the behind the scenes shots whereas the Maguire suits looked great both on and offscreen?

Nah it's just you... and me... and millions of other ppl off da net...

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys: - MMS165 - Spider-Man (black costume version) Official Specs and Pi

I don't think the costume around the neck or anywhere should be compared to the R & B Spidey. Remember, this isn't suppose to be an actual costume, its a Symbiote. No cloth needed. And since only the heads are removeable, the neck would have to be totally black.

Shouldn't Spidey have been naked when he ripped it off then? I thought it just sort of enveloped his existing costume in which case the neckline etc should have been the same...

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys: - MMS165 - Spider-Man (black costume version) Official Specs and Pi

it was enveloped, i rmb one scene where he looked into his closet and decided not to use the black costume, thought the traditional black costume is all black n no lines at all with just the white spidey n eyes n ard his hands (comic-wise), that version was tops. and also tt version was a normal clothed suit as he wore it again when capt america died in marvel civil war.
