Loving all these great pics. This is one of the best quality figures I've received so far. The suit and figure are very sturdy and flexible, and the Tobey sculpt is out of this world.
My only complaint is the base...which is great, but it could use a little more weight to it.

I agree which is why like I had said in my video review, I think if you use this head sculpt with him wearing street clothes, the black suit should be showing underneath. It mimics the scenes better where he is being influenced by the dark side of the suit and fits the expression of his face better. However with that being said, this is a job well done on a PP custom.
The figure is cool, but I don't dig him as Parker with an expression of such malice. Its fantastic when dressed up in the black suit, but not in plain clothes.

Thanks for the input guys and I do agree with you about the black suit under his street clothes, I just did want to risk screwing the figure up. You have given me an idea about using black latex on his neck and have it crawling up like the Venom suit.

Glad I got this figure, but at $188, it feels like $40 too much. I would have prefered no sandman stand at that cost savings.....

I just broke down and purchased this figure. Tobey Maguire was my celebrity crush of the late 90's, early 00's, even thought the Spider-man films were not my favourites. I passed on the red & blue Spidey because of the lack of headsculpt, but the black costume was always my favourite from the comics.

That's a great mod but I still think that his expression on his face is too mean for the good red and blue.

I think the black suit body is wider like the red-blue, this is the main problem.
This is again the developing difference like by Ironman mark iii versus iron man mark vi.
