The sniper rifle is such a key component for the character. I'm hoping they will include one and that it is not shown in the teaser just due to space.

i'm just in for the winter solider or a normal expression Chris evans (hated the hair on the rescue version)

Found some cool concept art

Just picked up the Marvel Legends SHIELD Cap on an impulse buy. Two headsculpts, stealth shield and a couple different hands. Now I really can't wait for the Hot Toys reveal.

We're complaining at the fact that there's a lot of rereleases of the same fig ex. theres been 3 Joker releases and the whole idea of having 2 variations of the Tumbler and The Bat in 1/6 scale, taking up a quarter of your room, is just insane.

I like the armory though, it's a nice compliment to the figures.

At least with Iron Man 3 they were different suits (minus Midas).

There is not going to be a 1/6 the Bat. Plus I don't get the complaining over the years that HTs is making too many figures from a line. Don't we want them to make tons from every movie they can? Yes I know certain licenses that were announced that haven't been made yet but usually it's the licensor that holds things up for approval. If they can't get approval figures are not made. People seem to ignore this fact.

As i said before, it's not we're getting more figs of a certain line than others, I understand that. It's the fact that we're getting the same figure rereleased.

I see nothing wrong with rereleases because gives some people a chance to get them that never did and usually they improve them. the last Heath DX joker is amazing. If they stopped at the very first joker it would be really sad version of him compared to newer figures. Tumbler and bat pod is a case for new people to buy it.

But if it upsets others, oh well. What can u do?

:goodpost: :exactly: I missed out on a couple figures the first time around so the rereleases are welcomed. Good point with the improvements BTW.

Exactly, I missed out on the Mark I and II so good thing they came out with upgraded versions. I almost spent more money on getting the original figures! I really hope they come out with a Mark III 2.0 now!

As far as re-releases goes, I think mainly for bringing new collectors into the fold! Not necessarily the one's who already have the piece. I have the TFA Cap....looking forward to the black suit version (SHIELD or stealth?)

This makes most sense to me, even tho I did pick up a MK1 2.0 due to me coming into the fray late. :D

But yea, if I didn't get that MK1, I wouldn't have stayed as a collector that long. I was fairly new and the fact that I wouldn't be able to finish my collection would've shot down my ambitions of being one.

Right! If you're an IM collector, the MK I is must!

Oh my...I skipped on TFA Cap, but not this one! I was kinda cool on WS as well, then I took my son up to Cleveland to watch filming last year. I think I'm also hooked on the new Widow figure too.

That, and I think a small part of Hot Toys wants to "re-do" the figures they couldn't get down so well long ago. Especially since the company has grown ten-fold since then. Besides the obvious Money and Profit agenda, I also think at times, Hot Toys knows they can "do better" and they'll redo several popular figures that they know can sell well. Ideally, they could re-release some of the characters with the exact same head-sculpt if they wanted to. But collectors know better and so does Hot Toys, so it becomes a "re-do/new version" of an old character.

They've redone A LOT of Predators recently (which are rumored to be among Chan's favorite characters, probably why we see them a lot) and have even begun to redo the original Terminator T-800 (since before they didn't have the rights to Arnold's likeness).

Honestly, I don't know why so many people complain about "re-dos" and "re-releases". Others might look at them negatively but I look at them as a break for my wallet. :lol

WE'VE GOT NEW PICS GUYS. I'm skipping this one but I LOVE the fact that this comes with a diecast shield! I guess the Cap figures will all come with diecast shields now!
