Mine arrived last night. One downside is that this is not the SSC exlusive set, but both of the original figures together. I half suspected that this would be the case when I noticed that the eBay seller I bought these from relisted more after I bought mine. But it's not a big deal as I can get the SSC exclusive accessories split on eBay. I love these figures and you really need to see them in-person to understand the true "power" they have on the shelf - pictures alone just don't do them justice.

I may get another Footsoldier sometime down the road, but that's about as far as I'd go in terms of army-building.

Here's one of my Photoshop tricks. Edited the Footsoldier to look as the Chitauri do in the opening of the film. Not great but thought it was worth sharing.

Just picked up the exclusive set for $210 and had a $20 eBay coupon. Couldn't resist $190 for two figures to buff out my villans display.

So it seems like the response to these figures was a bit ambivalent overall.

However, I recently ordered these from eBay I got the Footsoldier for 175 and the Commander for 151 and I am excited about them
Unfortunately it seems that I missed some great sale by PC on these by a few years (99 bucks each) but I’m still happy with the prices I got.

Based on a lot of the pictures of these guys I have seen in the forum I think they look pretty cool and I am excited about adding them
to my collection. The Chitauri have been in at least three MCU films and although they have pretty much been cannon-fodder, I still think they have played a significant role in the MCU Saga.

I am curious to know what some of the rest of you think about these figures now that so much time has passed since they were initially released and have now been rereleased by Hot Toys?

I'm one of those people who bought the exclusive set from Popculta awhile ago for around $200 I think(was a great deal nonetheless). Prior to that I never really considered getting them for the high prices of them everywhere else. All that being said, they do go great with a variety of figs bc of their multiple movie appearances like you mentioned. Overall great figs with cool bases and accessories to boot.

I only have Thor Ragnarok version of Loki so I don’t think I would pose them with him. I was thinking of sort of posing them
behind or next to my Endgame Armored Thanos. I think they may look pretty cool with him.

Dam I didnt even think about that. Thats a great idea. Just have to wait now for hot toys to ship more to sideshow.

I actually prefer the footsoldier, so if you can only get one, that would be the one to get in my opinion.

Why are these old ass figures for sale again on Sideshow??? I saw that today and thought it was quite odd...

They should have made the flying chariot that these guys fly on. That would have moved some more figures. I also wanted an Infinity War version of these guys but I doubt HT will ever go back to these since they were such slow sellers (and apparently still in stock )

My Foot Soldier came in yesterday!
I think he is pretty cool (particularly since I got him at a good price)!

The Commander should arrive in a couple of days, I?m looking forward to seeing them together.
