Just be ready to drop some seriouse coin :lol
oh you may want to give him a headsup in case you want to pick up something specific as Valfar says he has a seperate warehouse so whatever you are looking for he may not have it actually in the store ;)

Local store near my place got it for $171.2 USD. I'm gonna preorder 2 of this item today.

huh... I'm pretty sure all of the decals on the prototype are photoshopped on.

y'know, regarding the whole howard/cheadle swap... i'm not gonna speculate about the reason howard was replaced. they're both fine actors anyway.

but what DOES bug me is that from now on, every time james rhodes shows up, it will be a jarring reminder that the character looks and sounds TOTALLY different. and that just takes me out of the movie. i hate it when that happens. it's jarring because he was the only major character to be replaced. everyone else, even the voice of jarvis is played by the same actor.

it's different with films like bond, because we've come to expect the part being recast every few years. and even then, sometimes, the transition is still jarring. as good as daniel craig was, the first viewing of "casino royale" was a little weird cos it didn't seem like i was watching bond. at least most of the other bonds had a physical similarity about them. craig was physically very different (though he's now my current favourite).

i suppose in time, we'll get used to seeing/hearing cheadle as rhodey. unless of course, the role is again recast for iron man3! :google

Just want to share High-Res pic

I want to order, but want to know if an exclusive or another version, and if SS will carry it.

jeez, this is really gonna be my most favorite HT figure. I'll definitely be getting 2 so I can stare at it in my office:drool

Rhodes wasn't really in the first film enough or had enough character establishment for me to really get bugged by him being a different actor.

I really really really cannot wait till they show the mkVI. I love War Machine don't get me wrong but the sleak look of the mkVI is more to my personal tastes.

So did they get it right here or will there be a DX or BD? It looks good to me but I don't know the suit details all that well. Its very bulky and padded looking compared to Stark's sleaker designs but I guess thats the point.

Should also be interesting to see if there is a Hammer built War Machine and a seperate Stark built suit, or just the one model.

Im wondering if thats a new mark1v behind war machine.

Yeah I was starring at that, but the shoulder pad looks different on the bust sculpture.

As for DX, I knew these figures would not have all the bells and whistles that IM Battle Damage had. Hip flares, removable chest armor, spring loaded shoulder rockets. Or Maybe War Machine doesn't have all that stuff :duh But also I'm not sure Hot Toys would make a DX for him.

They'd probably pick IM for a DX and I hope its the Mark 5, with actual working suit case armor :naughty and base could be the Formula 1 car

I like how you think.I d love that racing car myself!!Do nt suppose anybody knows if it is an actual type(ie Tyrrell,March) or just invented for the film??

That's just a mark iii behind WM in the top image.

I wonder why Tommy felt the need to Photoshop the eyes and arc reactor on WM in that top shot. Not exactly representative of the actual product.

Ever seen Hotel Rwanda?

Nope, but I´ve seen "Reign over me", saw that one?

Grat movie and don´t get me wrong, Cheadle´s a good actor and I love "Reign over me", but...I dunno how to put it right.

Imo he´s not the face to potray stuff like that...

It´s the same with the wrestlers Edge (Adam Copeland) and Batista (David Bautista).

Edge is the absolute face, he sucked as heel and it´s exaclty the opposite with Batista, you know?

I've been out of the loop for a couple of days, but after loading 18 pics on Photobucket I'm damned if I ain't gonna post'em and the spec!
