I believe the second batch has been released now as Loontentoys has the Mark IV back up on Ebay for sale.
 
Its been awhile since i posted something or looked around here. But it looks like more and more people are getting their orders shipped! or at least confirmed!!! :hi5: I know the wait is killer, but its worth it!

Here are some more snaps to tide you over.....or kill you with anticipation! :nana: hahahaha!

Hi all
Ive just joined the forum I have on order 3 items from CSC I need these items to be in florida by the 24th of January because that is when my folks return to England the only non stock item is the MK IV and im worried that the defects may be present in there stock i know it not guaranteed but does anybody know if this stock should be the 2nd batch?

From what I read previously in this thread, Sideshow won't officially get these in for another 2 weeks (people have just received their 19 day notices a couple days ago), so CSC won't have theirs for at least 3 weeks. I don't think you'll be receiving the Mark IV by January 24th, especially if you need it shipped to Florida from California (where Cornerstorecomics is based).

As for the defects, it remains to be seen if it will affect the allotment of Mark IV figures distributed in the U.S. by Sideshow (and thusly sold by CSC, Alter Ego, BBTS, etc etc). I doubt it thought because it doesn't seem like the defects have been widespread so far.

Thanks I will get a email sent to my folks and have it part shipped if possible which means it will be May/June before I will get too see it now :crying

I searched before they went but I couldnt find any online shops /local shops for the florida area there in weeki wachee?

I'm still looking for some fast lens myself, at least f/1.8 and faster without breaking the bank. Canon glass rules!

I hope we can all get Mk. IVs free of defects. :pray:

My brain told me this was a real human. I had to punch it a few times before it could recognize otherwise.

You mean the expensive one ($1k)? I haven't read much about it, but it has to be good if it's priced the way it is. It's not an L-series lens though, right?

same here, however there's one dead giveaway - the underside of the armor on top of the right hand. other than that...wow it looks scary real!

@marf - what camera do you currently use?

@ spanbauer - thanks! Yes, save money by buying a decent camera, and invest on Lenses.....first lesson i got when buying a camera!

@exoticlex - dont throw away your point and shoot, if you have a canon, you can always trade that in towards a DSLR, even broken cameras they take!

@centurion - I would like sub f/3 lenses, but 2.8 is the fastest zoom lens i think. Prime lens goes as low as that, but its more practical for me to have zoom. even by a little bit.

@biojex - LOL!!

@plasmid - Yes thats the $1k lens. Not an L series, but with a crop body like my 40d, i heard the picture quality is just amazing!
