It does seem to take a while I'm waiting on an Unreal cape ordered at the beginning of January. Probably a lot of demand and obviously not the resources of a big company. I think the quality and attention to detail is worth the wait.

I figured he was waiting to gather orders so he could do a run. . But I'm in no big hurry, although would be cool to have sooner rather than later.

He told me 8 weeks for the movie accurate cape. I imagine some of that time is to get a certain unknown number of orders in so that he can ship them all at once rather than multiple trips to the post. Also have to factor in Chinese new year if he's Chinese and if he takes that time off.

However, I also imagine the Batman cape is a beech to make as he told me my Superman cape would be ready in 4 weeks.

I think it’s completely normal in my opinion for customs to get back tracked by a week give or take.

The best thing to do is check in with him at the beginning of the 8th week mark and ask for a shipping date. And on the shipping date ask for a tracking number. Keep the correspondence down to one email thread so that you can hold him to it.

But if it’s a little late don’t sweat it. Guys like Unreal deliver.

Oh yea for sure. I've been a part of my share of custom projects on here let alone have done some paint/sculpt commissions for very few so I know that stuff can take awhile. I'm not complaining about the time frame. I was just informing the fellas above in case he didn't give them a time line like he did me

Congrats! HT best Batman figure to date, a perfect way to start.

Because the cape is only really seen from the back rather than wrapping around like Keaton and Bale's you can get it looking okay. To touch it feels really cheap, a custom does improve things but best to see the stock in hand first.

Jaxon and Unreal customs do great capes, wired and unwired. I'm sure there are others but those are the two I've used on my figures.

For me it looks bad from the front. Because it's still it hits the table and that makes it stick up at the shoulders

Yep, that's been the problem with the cape from day one.

Congrats! HT best Batman figure to date, a perfect way to start.

There can be complaining and bickering etc here, but in the main there are a lot of great members with awesome info, ideas and generally good discussions on our favourite topic !

I must say I got a huge surprise today. Got a box in the mail thinking what the hell could this be. Opened it up and there was my Batman cape !! Couldn't believe it !!!

I ordered on 27 Jan. So Lucky if you're out there thanks man ! Great surprise !

Enhanced the 5 o’clock shadow. I dry-brushed black acrylic. The Batfleck faceplate seems to have some texture sculpted into the face. The factory shadow that was there made it easier to darken without looking too messy:

I like it better on the Nightmare Bats...more of a 6-7 o'clock shadow.
