My kids will probably love these as well. Their favorite show is Teen Titans Go and these guys look like the Marvel equivalent in action figure form.

''Unique artistic twists'' - they do that in the MMS line anyway. Ask any Alien or Predator fan. Heck I could point to some artistic twists on the DX13 and the QS002.

While I'm happy for the Marvel fans, this is kind of frustrating for fans of other licenses that HT promised to deliver. I said in other threads/sections that it seems the only way they could deliver while still churning out every Marvel figure is by adding more resources. I'm mistaken. They have the resources, this proves it. They just choose to ignore those licenses at the time being.

It looks like HT only bought those licenses just so no companies can touch the properties in 1/6. Sweet monopoly.

Oh dear, I think I actually want Ultron and his drones...

Huh. These look pretty cool. I'll probably stick to the 1/6th scale figures but still, pretty neat.

'We want Kid's Logic's money' - Howard.

:lol

Seriously, I read somewhere that one reason Play Imaginative's 1/6 diecast Iron Man line was cut short, was due to Chan/HT demanding for exclusivity. If true, that's funny, now that they're trying to compete with Kids Logic and Nenodroid's chibi-esque figure market.

Hot Toys can dream, not even Iron Man can beat Japan's love for all those hordes of Miku and their anime schoolgirls. :lecture

I've been seriously considering picking up the IM3, Solid Snake and forthcoming Batman Nendoroids.

Really, what can Hot Toys bring to the table that's better than this?

I wonder how they'll be different from those chibi-esque figures that HT already has....which are like 3" tall and $30-50 each. My Son will surely want them, I'm just not sure that he'll get them. I'd rather invest in one 1/6 HT figure a year for him than buy a bunch of these little ones that will wind up costing just as much but won't hold their value.

Still, interested in seeing what they come up with. Marvel is my main focus so there's no such thing as too much Marvel. It does suck for people who are fans of other licenses, but I suppose HT is going to follow the money trail and right now it leads to Marvel.

Watch HT make Black Widow and Scarlet Witch looking like Japanese Schoolgirls under this line! :lol

"Ballet Dancing Natasha Romanoff"

"Dreamy Scarlet Witch"

!!!!!

Cool sig gif, man. I hope I could get to meet you and your son for a photo-op at a con :) You taught your son too well! THe way he moves there you can see/feel passion at what he was doing!

Mini-Hulkbuster might be worth a look, otherwise I'm not really seeing the point of this. Unless they're very affordable (ha!) and they absolutely hit it out the park design-wise (unlikely, I despise those Cosbaby things they make), I don't see how they're going to compete with established players like Kid's Logic, Good Smile Company, etc.
