Just received my Mark VII diecast, amazing figure. However there seems to be an issue with the RDJ head, the faceplates (both BD and normal) don't sit flush on the head, anyone else have this issue? just wondering what I should do

Seat the mask at the mouth first and it should sit flush. There was a lengthy discussion on this topic in this thread starting @3/20. You should go back and read it if you're still having trouble.

Is there still a waitlist for the Ex with the blue gummy? I've been on since Oct 2019... :yess:

Hmmmm.... this or Thanos...? Hmmmmm.... or Iron Scavenger...? HMMMMMMM.....

Just finished assembling my Iron Man MKVII Diecast and he is phenomenal. For now I basically have him posed with the missle launching armor. One piece (I believe it is one of his flaps) keeps popping off the back I may have to glue it on...no issues besides that. He is going to look even more amazing once I have my display shelves with decent lights installed in them.
These were just quick pictures I snapped.

If anyone can notice the last picture where I took a picture of the back...that is the area where the flap piece will not stay on...I guess I will have to use glue...should be a simple fix.
I am so glad I decided to add the Iron Man MKVII Diecast figure to my other War Machine figures.

Yes mine is the same which involves a very easy fix...just push the mask down in the chin area first then it should snap right in correctly.

Here are some pictures I snapped to show you that yours is exactly the same way...and once you put the mask on correctly it does indeed sit flush...so nothing to worry about.

On mine, the faceplate on the clean head fit fine, but there was an issue with the BD head where the faceplate would keep "bouncing out" because the magnets were misaligned. It would sit flush if I pressed down but would not stay in place otherwise; and it was too low on the face if I tried to do an open faceplate look. I ended up contacting Sideshow for a replacement, and the new head doesn't have the same issue anymore.

God I love the numerous hand sculpts this MKVII comes with and also the interchangeable foreman armor pieces like this one with the rocket launcher.

Eventually I will pose him with the laser attachments in the laser fists.

Check out my reply on the last page for the Hot Toy Diecast MKVII.

I have the same issue as you but there is an easy fix. I took a picture to show you that this is normal...you just have to put the mask on by the chin first...then it just sort of snaps into place.

This figure is amazing.

After scouring the forums, I think I've found the answer, the problem is the red flap on the forehead is too big , I've managed to push it out gently before inserting the faceplate ( top first) into the head. Ill probably end up filing the piece down a little

Thanks for all the replies!

Awesome pics SepticFlesh! :)

Just got a Mark 7 Diecast used and I don't know what these 2 pieces are for. Any help would be appreciated. Ouch! I really need to dust my glass.

The top image with the gold attaches to the back/spine area when in non-weapon mode. It replaces a similar looking piece once the shoulder missiles are off. The other piece I can't place in the bottom image. Are you sure there isn't a broken part? By its shape, it looks like it goes near the shoulders.

Found it! It is a door on his right shoulder on the missile pack. It just snaps right back in. Thank you very much for the other piece answer.

Just a few more pictures I took last night. I am still so amazed by the level of detail on this figure.

BTW I really need to invest in some kind of iPhone 11 holder because my hands always shake...making it very hard to snap a clear photo... any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Nice pics! Yeah the details are intricate and spicy on this figure! I quite like the inner mech detail under the flaps, chest, panels, etc.

This figure looks awesome. The mark VI us already a beast it should be Amazing to have these beauty together.

Still some love for the plastic one ? I just bought him again cause I really can't aford the DieCast ones. :/

I have a few versions of the original (Avengers, BD, Midas, Subzero, Stealth) so i still have plenty of love for it.

I dont know what it is, but I got mine and its just not doing it for me. Its my favorite suit but something about it just isnt right. I think its the matte paint as opposed to the metallic paint like on the 4 and 6. Im probably gonna sell mine and save up for one of those instead.
