It seems the shoulder rockets and the "ex-wife" actually pop-up as opposed to the inserts that were shown in the prototype photos. Well, atleast I hope they do.

It's great that we're getting one complete War Machine, but it would've been interesting to see a battle damaged version to go with the 2-in-1 Mark VI. But this is Hot Toys, maybe we'll still see one. :dunno

Nope... inserts as well....

Maybe the reason they dont show the other shoulder rocket is cause, the EX-Wife can rotate to the side and turn into the rocket? So its 2 in 1 ?

How can you tell they're just inserts?
After further study... it might not be inserts after all... both appears to be functioning and enough space for it... though the shoulders, now seems too low... So we gain an Ex-wife and loose a missile launcher and gain 2 retracting/storing/deploying shoulder launchers.

HT really strive to improve....

So is a battle damage version of this even justifiable anymore ..all his weapons he had in the film are on this figure ..so there would be nothing special left to give a possible battle damage version.. unlike the VI .. just battle damage is all they could do to make it differ from this, a fancy base maybe like the iv got ..but thats all really ..

A fancy base, swappable battle-damaged parts, improved flaps on the boots, and a different headsculpt. Doesn't seem like much, but then the Mark VI doesn't have anything in the way of extra features over the Mark IV either, beyond the battle-damaged accessories.
