That's too bad. I haven't read the books, but after hearing about her I couldn't wait to see some well deserved revenge get dished out.

I was initially disappointed that a certain character was not revealed in the season finale, but upon further thought, I am ok with it.

I can't see Michelle Fairley wanting to play a non-speaking walking dead corpse. Talk about a downgrade for the actor. Not sure why people are up in arms over this omission. Lady Stoneheart hasn't done much in terms of vengeance in the books yet anyway, other than almost kill Brienne. The show has more than enough storylines to pursue rather than this "B" level storyline regarding LS.

That is what I thought initially, but Michelle seems to imply that there will be no Lady Stoneheart because the writers don't want to introduce the character, regardless who could be playing her.

Yeah, it's logistics. It's probably less of a headache and more so, less money to omit her. Sucks.

You would think, right? IIRC, LS (who takes leadership of the Brotherhood without Banners) runs across Brienne and wants to kill her for letting Jamie go without getting Arya or Sansa back. She hasn't done anything else since. She certainly has not gone after the Freys, Boltons or Lannisters yet.

I have to echo the sentiment of thank God they've dropped the character. It made little to no sense in the books, there was little of her over the course of 2000 pages, and when she was there, it wasn't particularly well tied in with the rest of the story. Let her go.

I'm hoping this also means that she doesn't play much of a role in the remaining books.

There are still two books left. I doubt she'd be included if she didn't serve a greater purpose. Same complaints have been made about Sansa and Brann's storylines.

Really disappointed she isn't going to be in the show.

I don't see why they can't condense the character's storyline into just 1-2 seasons. There was no reason to introduce the brotherhood without a banner if this character is intact not going to be in the show. I am hoping that they will introduce her at the end of next season or so and just condense the story.

That's awesome, as great as the show is, the books are even better. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
