WHAT!!!!!? When? I need to be there. I know if she met me she would instantly fall in love with me and she would be mine.

NYCC is going on in October from the 5th 8th at the Javits Center. She'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Not sure if it's still possible to get tickets though. Felicity Jones is going too, but only on Friday.

I wonder how many times someone will keep rewinding the infamous " I'm freakin Mary Poppins yo! " scene on their blu ray :rotfl

I saw it.. but liked the 1st one much better.. this one looked like a freaking video game the entire time.. to much CGI.. WAY TO MUCH CGI.. if it wasnt for the dialogs and Drax, this movie actually sucked.

I actually enjoyed it more than the first BUT the movie serves no purpose to exist within the MCU.

If a movie is not helping connect the MCU then I want nothing to do with it.

I did not not jump onboard the MCU for solo stories.

I'm content with GOTG1 for the introduction of the characters since they will be in IW.

If they weren't in IW I probably wouldn't even bother with these characters at all.

What was GOTG2 about again lol

Did she respond: "Thanks. Next"

Hell no, she's way too classy for that. :lecture

But there are definitely actors who would do that. My ex-wife paid to get an autographed photo from Nikki Reed one of the lesser vampire chicks at a Twilight convention and the actress literally wouldn't even *look* at the fans going through her line. Anyway my ex still said something like "it was nice to meet you" (since she had also done a photo op with her moments before) and Reed looked up with a confused look on her face then went back to signing autos without a word. No joke my ex looked at her signed photo and half wanted to just throw it in the trash right in front of her, lol.

I've met a few SW celebs, including Mark Hamill, and thankfully each and every one of them was friendly and cool. Phew. Thank God I don't ever have to watch a SW movie and always be reminded of the time that Luke, Leia, Jyn, C-3PO, Boba Fett, Chewie, or Wedge was a **** to me, lol.

:lol :lol :lol

The bigger Khev's smile widened the more Felicity died inside lol

I made a mental note to have a "cool" smile prior to meeting her for the photo op but being face to face with her just threw all that out the window, lol.

Anyway, I might not have cared for GotG2 but I am actually really looking forward to seeing how they interact with the Avengers and Spider-Man in IW.

The only celebrity I know about that admitted to having sex with a fan was Carrie Fisher and that's probably because she was on drugs and the dude probably brought her more drugs.

Other than that think of the millions of hours of fan celebrity events that have taken place during the past 25 years and I bet not ONE fan has ever got more than the 30 seconds afforded to them.

I had a plumpy wealthy friend who would bring expensive gifts to the female celebrities he had a crush on and they all looked disgusted or sported a fake smile for the extra 30 seconds his gift afforded him.

He would even pay in the thousands (over 10k) just to have a private lunch with them or do a quick interview for his personal diary.

Yikes.

Oh well at least that fan can say he banged Princess Leia even if it was the Jabba version lol.

I wonder if he choked her with a chain!

Oh man, did you ever witness this? What types of gifts? Yeah you've got to respect the process and not get greedy, lol. I've found that just paying them a simple and respectful compliment always gets a warm response and it leaves a nice memory going forward. Not for them of course, they'll forget you in the sea of other fans they meet but I at least like always knowing that I had a nice little interaction with them.
