Oh, man. Seriously, it's a lot of fun. And the controls are VERY easy. I have GTA III and it's so much fun. I'll definitely be getting this as well (when it's on sale for cheaper.)

I have GTA II on my iPad and was stuck for weeks on a race mission, it was just too fiddly to get to and keep first place to continue the game :game

Loved these so much that I never parted with them. GTA3 I bought on its release day without knowing a single thing about the game. Just needed something new to play, happened to be in Best Buy and thought it sounded interesting. Got home, popped it in the PS2, played for about 10 minutes: mind blown. Hooked on GTA ever since. Most revolutionary game ever for consoles IMO.

It doesn't say that. They know that it's coming to the States because of the ESRB ratings, but nowhere does it say US only.

The U.S. is a bigger market. I think they will make a version for the Europeans, too. Speaking of which, it seems to me that the Miami Vice game (The one based on the TV show) is only for European consoles. I have one but it won't play. I am disappointed.
