They made a point to mention in Skull Island Kong was still a growing boy. Give him another 40 or 50 years and he could be Godzilla size.

As much as I’d like to see Kong win, he is famous for his ‘fall.’
There’s no way Kong could legitimately beat Godzilla but they found a lameass way to do it in the original in 1962.
