GvK is going to suck now. They're going to reuse all the same CGI from Skull Island to save money -- so all of Kong's fights with Godzilla will feel really familiar.

It wouldn't need that much money to break even, but even on the conservative side it's not going to hit it.
It did a bit better domestically than expected, but the international box office has bottomed out for it, last weekend it made like $6 million internationally so there's no chance of it getting to $400 million, so it's probably going to end up as some amount of a loss.

They should put that sentence on the blu-ray cover. That will totally make up for them losing hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office.
