NECA teased the packaging for G62 the other day. I hope they can do a Kong eventually if licensing allows them.

Randy confirmed the tail is joint articulated instead of bendy wire like the old ones. Might be a new thing going forward.

That's shaping up to be an awesome release; atomic breath is included! Really glad I went with this one over the Monsterarts.

Ok I'm glad I wasn't imagining things looking at the product pics. It looked off to me, I didn't remember the other preview pic floating around. Deforeal Hedorah went up for PO also.

I don't know what to think, some pictures look good like it was at the show, others look shorter and fatter than that like it's a different figure.

What is the issue with the Toho Kong license? Does a company have to go through both Toho and Universal? It just seems like you very rarely see this version of Kong in any collectible form, despite the decades of exposure. I'd be over the moon for a NECA version, but I'm not sure I see that happening, realistically.

I ordered first thing this morning. I was a little confused by the pics as well. Obviously the angles are making it look different. Truthfully, that picture from the show makes the figure look bad. Biogoji is my number 1 favorite and that show picture made my heart sink. I'm more encouraged with the promo pics.

In that event, it would seem that high angles and the left side are not flattering, as he looks too chunky there, but shots from the right and low angles looks spot on.

Would you assume you need those stands to have him stand up with his wings out? He's frigging gigantic, if I get him definitely waiting on the US release; don't want to pay $40 just to ship him. Bandai's box will be huge.

Yes, I’m sure any Ghidorah 2019 piece with spread wings will require support.

I wish they wouldn't photoshop it out of every other pic. In the one w/ the stands he is leaning forwards too so I thought that may be the reason they're necessary. This might actually be too big for my space right now. I have the special color version of Ghidorah that came with a flight stand so he's kind of out of the way above figures. This guy will require some serious space.
