If the feet aren't aligned enough to meet even a flat surface evenly, the problem may be solvable with a blow dryer.

I might not have explained right; the feet are still flat but one foot is 1/8" off of the print to land right inside of it. He stands fine, maybe I'll give it a shot since it's pretty close.

Unfortunately, due to timing, I had to pass on Kong, maybe if he's still available when things turn around, though at this point, I'll probably hold out, NECA will likely do figures of him for Godzilla vs Kong.

I'll probably pick something up whenever that gets released, but I really wanted something. I have like zero Kongs and also new to vinyls so wanted to check this out.

Ah, gotcha. Do the feet swivel at all? Haven't tried it on mine, but I recall someone on Facebook saying they were able to do it on theirs.

My feet fit nicely into the footprints, so I think a little hairdryer heat to spread the legs back out to where they should be, then running them under cold water to set should do the trick.

I placed my order as well. Funny that I never loved the movie creature, yet I'm really loving this sculpt. It definitely works better for me than any of the other figures. They've made the '98 Godzilla cool.

Forgive me if I missed this, but do we know who has the toy license for the new movie? I guess I haven't really heard much about that yet, save for the NECA and SHMA figures. More JAKKS? Playsets?

NECA poster Godzilla is up for preorder. I like it but I'd treat it like a statue and never move it around. I saw it in person and thought it looked really good, but just not sure I need it in my collection.

I may get it for the uniqueness it would add to my '54 collection, but have to see how money and space are doing when the time comes.

I don't see many deforeal posts here other than the announcements. I'm really new to vinyls; I only have 2 so far but I think this '84 deforeal is great. I may switch some preorders to the Ric boy of other deforeals. It's great because you actually get a really large sculpt of Godzilla's head even compared to the 12" series. I'd been thinking about if I should get more 12" (just have this '75 Godzilla and the new Kong) but I may stop with those guys and continue with the deforeals. Well a '75 Mechagodzilla is definitely on the to buy list too, but that's it! Sorry for the poor lighting w/ the pics.









Does anyone else have this '84? The figure's left hand looks a little messed up. I guess I could heat it up and angle it differently; but it looks different than the promo pics; even the fingers are molded together instead of separate.

Ok I'm glad I wasn't imagining things looking at the product pics. It looked off to me, I didn't remember the other preview pic floating around. Deforeal Hedorah went up for PO also.
