Thanks abake. It really does, if I do say so myself. All the previous suits (red, yellow, purple, green, etc) had some minor errors, but I entered those projects too late to offer corrected research for them. I did a LOT of research for their suit details, but it was too late to fix the mistakes that already existed.

With this new Clavius suit, however, I entered the project right from the start- so I was able to research everything to help ensure film-accuracy as much as possible. The photos at the ER website aren't very high res, so you can't see the fine printed text details on the backpack and chest box very clearly. I probably shouldn't post the Photoshop image I created for the text, since it's an official production document that is owned by the company now- my overlords might not appreciate it. Trust me though, the printed text details look crisp and accurate, just like the text on the previous suits did. (I created those too).

SO... The ETA is 2nd quarter 2020. I think this might be a good time to start thinking about a custom head sculpt for Dr. Haywood Floyd, yes?

I have the perfect artist/company in mind: Ulli Pekka, at 'From Russia With Love'.
Right now he/they are doing rooted-hair heads for Thulsa Doom from 'Conan The Barbarian (1982) and they are fantastic! I pre-ordered three different Thulsa Doom heads, (helmet on, helmet off, and bloody severed head, all with rooted hair.) and the full armor by Scaletta... can't wait!

We all should work with Ulli Pekka, I'm sure we can get an amazing likeness of Floyd. Some samples of his work:

Glad to see this finally released, but a bit disappointed there's no William Sylvester head sculpt or figure for the same original price as the Bowman or Poole. Just make sure the crotch zipper is black.

The black crotch zipper was ambiguous; some scenes it was black, but in other scenes it was silver. (not the actual zipper itself, but the cloth along the edges of it)
