Nice pick-up and pics:clap...will be interesting to see how the HT version will compare with this guy...

Thanks! The 1/4 HT version looks nice -- awesome accessories and I'm sure the tailoring will be excellent. I still think they could have made a better decision with the hair-sculpt. I think the hair-sculpt on the EB version is more definitive. I feel that HT missed the mark with the second head sculpt that is half painted. Although it was a cool idea, I think collectors prefer screen-accuracy or definitive facial expressions from the movie, so that would have been cool to have a one or two extra portraits from different scenes in the movie.

Agreed, but the idea behind it was just to show that the HT sculpt looks like Ledger when it is not masked with clown make up. Anyway congrats on your purchase. Will you be getting the HT 1/4 Joker?

Thanks! I'm not sure -- probably not. The weapons and accessories are definitely a plus, but not sure if I want to purchase this one, considering I got the EB at a great price

Understandable, I only want to get Hot Toys one because I don't like the body and quality of clothes on the EB one.

^I came in here to ask a related question

Would the wrist joints of the Coomodel body be compatible with Enterbay? I thought with all the Joker customising that goes on people might have tested this.

In particular though I want to know if I could use the Coo wrist joints with Enterbay's Terminator figures.

Oddly enough I was looking into 1:4 gloved hands for a project and stumbled upon a max toys Joker set for $89 so ordered thought well sell on as a kit minus gloves. Arrived needs some work ignore the Velcro the button broke if anyone is looking at coo model this is the body it's on. Also found this repaint which is pretty good.

Enterbay figure is really nice and the recast has lost detail but great for 2nd display or alternative for crazy prices.

Despite the praise it gets I've never liked the Enterbay Joker head, though seeing that repaint makes me think it's mainly the paint on the original that throws it of for me. The repainted one actually looks super awesome! Where did you get it?

It's not mine bud it's by another painter but just showing the same sculpt repainted how good it looks. Defo agree on the painting for enterbay.

Due to the stock makeup paint getting stickier and shinier looking over the past few months(it looks to have been common problem on a lot of the sculpts)....I decided to strip and repaint my EB joker head sculpt.
If a little on the caricature side...there's still a nice likeness to Ledger underneath all the makeup....8 years or so on and for me it's still a better offering than HT disappointing effort.

I also have some lamb mohair on the way to rework the hair...Never done rooted hair before so that should be fun:)...or then again maybe not:(

Not a bad repaint man looks good, sculpt is still better than Hot toys.

I'm gonna say if you can splash a bit of cash for around £300 you can get Cregs 1:4 sculpt and get it painted haired.
I sold the joker above, got mom toys joker which is really nicely tailored.

That sculpt does look fantastic....is he still making these to order?

Another few mods i made were to the shoes...i dry brushed them to lighten them up a little and swapped out the laces for more accurate ones..

I also padded up the shoulders a tad to give him more of a hunch back.

Bar getting a more accurate tie i'm happy enough with the overall look for now....Rooted hair next:)
