Well, it's never too late, and I'm just checking your collection thread, awesome stuff there! Love it!

Thanks Toni. Looking at your collection we seem to have the same taste in collectibles, the 1:1 Endo will hopefully join my collection someday. Cheers :D

Hey guys, I got my combat bust a few days ago, and im done "cleaning" it. It came out very nice. Im wondering if I should polish the chrome now to make it even shinier. The question I have is, The only thing I could find was this one, clr metal cleaner, I got a buffing cloth too.

https://www.jelmar.com/CLRMetal.htm

It says on the back 1) apply with damp cloth 2) rub in 3)rinse thoroughly- Do not leave on surface to be cleaned for longer than 2-3 minutes. 4) For a brighter shine, wipe surface with a clean dry cloth.

Can someone explain this to me, Ive never used polish at all , never done anything like this, and this is my first collectible, so go easy on me.

Does #3 mean after i rub in the polish i wait a bit and then I have to use a wet cloth???

I probably wouldn't use that cleaner..

you should simply get just a "chrome polish", its looks like car wax and you pretty much do the same- just apply and work onto the surface with a swirling motion...let it sit a moment and then use a soft terry cloth to buff the residue.

Hi Felmar, thanks for your quick response. This was the only kind there, but I can check other places. But i thought it was ok since it has a picture of a chrome car rim on the bottle ?

I have turtle wax somewhere but i dont think its for chrome
