Honestly, I think Disney would've been better off setting up a new SW in either the Old Republic or Legacy generations.

Gotta agree with this statement. That would be cool to see...not to mention totally relaunch the franchise and open it up to infinite story lines.

I honestly can't imagine the original cast returning. Ford and Hamill have both gone out of their way to state that they have moved on from the franchise.

It'll most likely be years into the future past RotJ.

I dunno. Hammill still makes SW apperances and signs autographs. I don't think Ford even likes to say Han Solo let alone do anything remotely connected.
