Once again I want to thank you for all your appreciating and motivating comments so far!

Handling the miniature custom items I recently made took more after hours than expected
but I'm happy I can finally show you some updates / close to finish pics very soon now.

Finished it completely except of some minor details that I'll add in the progress of making the announced street diorama bases.

This weekend it'll be fun to connect the power supply to finally make some nice pictures for you, showing the Bat-Bunker diorama lit up completely!

This actually is the first picture showing the rock-like outer sides surface.
It's completely coated with a two-tone (black / dark gray) painting to give it the look as if it's cut out of the undergroud.

Thanks man! Sure, maybe a full tutorial would go beyond the scope but at least I can collect some of the making of pics I made in between and post them with some details some time after the pictures I'll make today.

That's a funny post because he actually had a Batcave in TDKR.

Personally I really like the Bat-Bunker's look a lot more than the Batcave in TDKR, too but I think the Batcave fits well in TDKR's storyline as they left the Bat-Bunker.

By the way, when I started planning the diorama I analysed about 68 stills from the TDK and TDKR to get the details and proportions right and from what I compared I suppose they built up the complete Bat-Bunker set for TDKR again, even though it was just used for a short sequence, compared to the many sequences in TDK.
One more impressing detail showing the efforts invested in this great movies.

Awesome! Really cool! Although won't you need a support on the left hand fron corner.. i would think if you put enough wieght on the street scene above it could prove problematic

It's really built extremely sturdy. You could stand on the center of the upper side without a problem, though I'd never do this.
Just if you'd put a lot of weight direcly on the left hand front corner it wouldn't be ideal but from it's own weight its not a problem because of the framwork.
Anyhow, an acrylic window will be added at this corner to keep the dust out.
