Galactiboy, are you considering getting any 3D printed upgrades?
The canopy window transoms look very thick compared to the original filming model.

Looks like there's upgraded (though very expensive) parts on Shapeways: Millennium Falcon Nose Cone DeAg Studio Scale (Q3QFQ4SJ3) by SpaceInScale

Yep, as others have said the new cockpit will hopefully address some of those issues. I am considering a few of the Shapeways pieces though... mostly some bits that would make the hold look a bit nicer and possibly a replacement console for the cockpit as the sticker doesn't really do it for me.

But for the most part I'll be sticking with the stock parts, but painting everything.

Looks stock. I got a better floor and barrels and crap from shapeways. I then primed, painted and dry brushed the hold.

Received issue's 21-24 a few days ago. Not much in these issue's, but the underside of the hull is starting to take shape.

Thank you! I'm up to issue 24 as well. I've only put the frame together. I don't want to mess with the hull plates til we have the complete underside. Then I'll be doing the Tamiya Insignia White spray and washing/weathering. Plus the red/yellow/grey panel colors. I ordered a set of paints from this site but haven't gotten them yet:

water based hobby paint for the star wars millennium falcon. Offering 2 base colours and full sets and single bottles.

Anyone else tried these yet?

Hang in there Australia it will be worth the wait. I've been busy cutting down large pine trees and clearing property to build. That and everything summer as well.

Anyone else getting the photo etch set from ParaGrafix? I just ordered the cockpit set and pre-ordered the hold. It lets you add lighting not only to the back but the sides of the cockpit.
