Great to hear your endorsement also batfan - I'm really looking forward to this now.
I'm with you, Captain Clown. This was the best Batman movie of the year. It was hilarious, it was entertaining as hell, and it was surprisingly thoughtful in the way it examined the evolution of Batman from caped crusader to dark knight and just how we perceive the character. Burt Ward's Robin was on point. West and Newmar both sounded their ages, but, honestly? I thought it was part of the charm. West's delivery killed me because the material they were working with was already fantastic. All in all, I cannot wait for Batman vs. Two-Face.
You know what? **** it. I'd take one of these per year over those ****ty New 52 movies.
Spoiler:when Batman turns evil and starts quoting the more serious Batmen like the Miller and Burton versions.
Spoiler:"Begorrah."
I laughed my ass off at...
Spoiler:"Begorrah."
I was hoping it would before, but I'm kind of desperate for this movie to get one of those Target Steelbook releases.
Spoiler:All of the designs for the new Bat-vehicles were awesome, I really hope we somehow get a toyline for this.
And I laughed pretty hard at the Bat-Anti Antidote.
Spoiler:I'm specifically thinking of the road crossing scene here. But that's not the only one...
How's the Penguin, Joker, and Riddler? Do they sound like the original actors?
