I should clarify from earlier...this is an instant buy for my son IF the sculpt is dead on (e.g. not like some of those Hobbit heads). I could not drop that amount of coin just to see the veiled look of disappointment on my son's face when he sees it. He'd never cop to it but I'd know.

Please Asmus nail the likeness on this bearded bastard!

Yeah, Asmus could do something *spectacular* don't get me wrong I've got WETA's stuff but Thorin IMO too generic in face. Not to argue poly vs. fig...ANYWAY I'd snag 2 Thorins at least fast as I could get the card out.

Still wish I could've squeezed out a second Thranduil. Shoulda made it work. Won't make the same mistake with Thorin, depending on sculpt of course. As time has gone on really love my Bard, Gandalf the Grey, and Thranduil even more. Just wish I had more money LOL.

Unsure about getting Thorin but Bilbo will be a definite buy. Hopefully the head sculpt paint apps are back to like of the original slim Frodo release.

Feel like the scales on his chest armor could be closer together, but otherwise everything looks great.

Face doesn't look that much like Richard Armitage but hopefully it's just the bad lighting. Outfit looks superb though!
