Disney also continues their bizarre casting choices with Snow White. And I don't mean race. I mean....she's kind of "weird" looking.

Just like the actress that played Ariel. In no universe would I consider these women "ugly"...but there seems to be something "off" about their faces. They have an uncanny valley look to them. Anna Taylor Joy has it too.

There's no way this isn't a deliberate choice on Disney's part. Everything they do these days is some kind of "act of revolution" etc. It reminds me of how the fashion industry takes really bizarre looking women and insists they're the new standard of beauty, but anyone with eyes can tell they're just really really strange looking.

I noticed that but figured the guy in the front in the prince. . .though it would be surprising if they made the prince a white (presumably straight) guy.

Thinking about this for another minute, I'm not sure if Snow White had a prince, though (I think there is one and he fights a dragon?). Woodsman was supposed to carve her heart out I think, which is pretty metal. Maybe that's this guy.

Seriously though, for a company that is so intent on being politically correct and progressive with everything, why would they even consider moving forward with a revision to a film like this? You have to change almost everything to make it check all their boxes.

I think you nailed it right there. I think they hate their own classic library and want them all changed, all for the sake of signaling their own virtue and moral superiority over Walt Disney and all who love his legacy.
