It’s interesting how they make these casting choices in the name of “diversity and inclusion” when roles for individuals with dwarfism are so far and few between yet they neglect to offer these roles to dwarf actors.

Well it looks like Dinklage got his wish, that dwarves are seen as actual people and not just some fairytale gimmick. Kinda like how he got the Trask role and his size had nothing to do with the character, he was just another actor. If the story is seen as outdated though , Disney should have just not bothered. Snow White isnt white and the dwarves aren't dwarves.
