This is amazing, especially seeing the pics with the figs included. Such a big project taking on 1/6 vehicles! Styrene is a huge difference from MDF too, great to work with, carves and cleans like a dream!

Yeah side show should make one, but my guess is that it would be sooo exspensive. I live in the UK and we have to pay a fortune for figures.

Cheers man. Hopefully gona get some styrene this week coming. While I am waiting for the styrene to arrive I decided to start on the x-wing! Now that is gonna be a beast. Dont think I will build the whole thing, just the front end. I have got the main structure built and the nose. the cockpit will be a challenge but hopefully by then I will have some styrene.

You might want to try https://www.modelshop.co.uk/ for materials etc. Checkout their online calalogue or better still download the PDF one. These guys can supply just about anything. I visited their shop near Aldgate in London on my lunchbreak last week as I'm helping a friend with a stop motion animation project, and the place is absolutely awesome, like an aladdins cave for model makers. If you cant find what you want here it probably doesn't exist!

This is another project of mine. Not Star Wars but still 1-6th scale. Hope to work on a star wars diorama next year. But can not decide what yet.

Have a look at the shipwright arms. Its my favourite and it was great fun to build and photograph.

Got fed up waiting for the styrene to show up. So I have started the 1/6th Scale x-wing. Gonna be great. Have posted the early stage photos.
