man that looks awesome. I would love to see a shoot of Old ben and luke in the speeder with the droids on back. Maybe a "These aren't the droids..." type shot with some troopers...

A true piece of art you have made and such an iconic vehicle, I still have my old hasbro one from about 20 odd years ago (probably closer to 30 years lol).

Well I actually got my backside in gear and got a little done on the old landspeeder.

Only three things left to do, remake the windshield and finish the engine parts at the back end.

So determined to finish all my old stuff before I start any thing new.

I am hoping the second one I am building will be much better and I must to the open engine pod on that one.

Wow, you keep giving me the "oh yeah, well I just need to finish a few more projects...", now you're digging up projects from ages ago to work on! I thought this was already done?!?!

We'll never get anything else done at this rate....

This thing has come a long way... too bad I wasn't there to see it's creation... I didn't join til Sep 2009 (which obviously you could figure out by looking directly under my name under "Join Date:"), and even then I still was only poking my head around in the Aliens/Robots section trying to figure out how to sculpt Arnold Shortzy-whatsit to make my own terminator fig...

How did you make the windshield to begin with Dorgs? I'm sure it probably said how somewhere in here but I'm too lazy to go through this entire thread page by page...

Thanks to you Dorgmal my wife wants me to stop putzing around customizing figures and build us a land speeder, but its cool because I guess I got permission to build some big stuff now.:

The speeder looks awesome, now if someone could just come up with a way for it to float about an inch or two off the ground.

Dorgmal, are the dimensions of your land speeder the same as the ANH studio scale model? This is a project I'd like to tackle but I'm not sure how to get the scale right. I have a lot of reference of the SS model but like I said where do I start.

WElcome Weezer oww man technical questions hahha right first up I have no idea . It seems that there are so many different ideas on the whole size thing, I just collected as many images as possible from game shots to flickr pics and based the whole thing around a drawing of wookipee I think.
I started by just makings plans and then fumbled my way though like so many of my projects. I am definitely gonna make another one next year when I have finished the Snowspeeders.

I am more than happy to help out in any way Weezer.
