1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

The original renders of the WGP's were good, they just didn't turn out right when cast. Inigo is now printing these himself, so what you see in a render should be what you eventually get.

Some of Inigo's heads have come out a bit narrow as well, like my Deckard, but hopefully that won't happen here.

Hope so - it looks pretty good.

Indy's a super hard likeness to get right. The hat looks superb, as does the paint work, but the HF likeness is a bit middling - solid, and a really good expression, but something still a tad off. Maybe a slight 3/4 angle pic might bring it closer, it's a really nice sculpt he's done.

Interesting that the original JNIX ANH Han sculpt has been repurposed a few times now and just never seems to even come close to the greatness of that ANH version.

It?s not as strong as the ANH Han. It ended up a bit more narrow ? the eyes seem closer together and the nose is a bit thinner. But it?s still up there with the Inigo v2. Never been completely sold on the MJ Choi.

Seems like you?re thinking of Inigo, he?s doing a v3 soon and a professor Indy too. Jnix has only done one hatted Indy before (and an unhatted version). He?s just doing another run of the hatted one and offering it unpainted, normal paint, and this damaged one.

Yeah I like my Jnix Indy (that I slightly modded with a shorter and wider nose), but the new Inigo sculpt is looking SO much better at the moment. Really hope that goes up for order soon.

I have put together another custom Indy.

Here is some pictures that invite audience interaction.*

I bent the nose on the Sideshow sculpt and repainted it. Made my own whip and satchel strap. Painted the shirt and sewed buttons on, painted the trousers and the Creg Custom boots and weathered the Hasbro jacket and put a zipper on it. One of the hats is the Sideshow Raiders that I modified with Super Sculpey and the other is the Sideshow Kingdom hat.

I actually was fortunate to get one when the last run occurred. I know its hard for you guys to give advice on whether I should keep it or not but I have been thinking about selling it as it will allow me to afford other projects, I mostly collect Star Wars not the sequel trilogy no offense to anyone and Batman Arkham figures including customs with some other stuff sprinkled throughout. I have a MJ Choi Indy that will be painted by Mark Simpson and sent back to me in the next month or so.

Indy is one of my idols/heroes and I know if I sell it I will be kicking myself and yet at the same time there are some grails I could make if I did.
