Jyn and K-2SO are the only rebels I'm inclined to buy.

Yep. And for me, Krennic and Death Trooper... assuming they're worthy in the film.

Which causes all kinds of mayhem on my shelves as I passed on Rey and BB8 and only have Kylo and Jakkutrooper for TFA. The plan was Krennic and Death Trooper to go with that. But if I get a chick and a robot from one...

I assume Krennic is a given for HT to make. Definite buy. I just have to decide which Deathtrooper version I want. Like Darkseed, the Empire is a different story.

I'm buying Specialist Deluxe and picking up a loose rifle -- should be plenty as it comes with the other two versions. Then with that I could make all three versions.

Almost looks like his head could retract down into that hole around his collar area like a turtle which would make him even more super battle droid ish.

Am I not turtle enough for your Turtle Club?

Yeah I have a good feeling about this guy. To be honest was never a fan of C3PO. This guy looks like a modern retake. I'm on board.

Never a fan of C-3PO? Wow.:horror

This guy seems to have stolen Threepio's lines, we shall see. He looks like he could kick some a$$ though.

Love the look of K2 so this is a must get for me!
I hope this can stand on the usual slick surfaced HT stand. I might have to make a better more textured stand to prevent him from sliding around, unless HT makes the feet metal and the base magnetic..

Highly priced collectible, so of course there will be no inclusion of engineering to help it stabilize. This things going to be the equivalent of a top in your collection, ready to take other pieces down with it :lol

I actually had a cascade of falling figures a week ago, lucky Ren and C-3PO didn't have too far to fall and are okay, but I stepped on and destroyed my empty Cinemachine boxes in the process. I blame the crotch grabber stands.

K-2SO
C-3PO

Same character, new look...

When did we see C3PO toss around Stormtroopers like rag dolls?

Yeah this guy is kinda 50-50 Super battle Droid and C3PO - it seems weird that his one big line in the trailer is just a redo of an old 3PO line about chances of success... complete with the human rolls-eyes reaction shot.

He goes against the technology-level logic of every OT droid (no OT droid could even come close to running like this guy does,) but I still like the design overall.

I wish it had stayed like that as well with the tech, but Lucas killed that with having acrobatic super bots in the PT. :(

I do like quite a few things in the PT - but in terms of story/canon I don't really see it as part of the OT universe/timeline. I view as almost like a distantly linked spin-off and can enjoy it on those terms. But yeah - at the time when the PT was supposed to literally lead into the OT, the PT to OT throughline of droid technology made about as much sense as R2D2 with rockets.:lol

K-2SO's abilities kind of bug me though because RO's set pretty much the same week as ANH happens, yet there's nothing in the entire OT that follows it that's even close to what K-2SO can do, so my guess is that Jyn is not the only Mary Sue in RO.

A few people were saying K-2SO's "military grade" or "just a prototype" but none of that makes any sense if you think about it - if that technology existed a week before ANH, there's no way we'd have clunky Death Star Droids or IG-88's or the black imperial EV-9D9's on Star Destroyer bridges seemingly several years later, and not a single hint of K-2SO's technology.

K-2SO before ANH is like the Empire having smartphone technology and the internet but tossing it in favor of fax machines and pagers.
