I never expected this to be SO big, there's just no way it'll cost anything like the $700.00 or less that I'd hoped..., I'm not even sure $1,000.00 will do it now.

I doubt it'll be diecast. HT would want this as "affordable" as possible. Plastic would keep the cost down.
