I don't believe so. I was semi-retired with HT too. Until CW and BvS.

Love Rumlow in TWS and have high hopes for him in this. I just hope he's a worthy character that gets more screen/story time than Baron Von Strucker

I wonder if some of the posters here even realize that Crossbones was already a character that appeared in TWS (not in his Crossbones gear but you get what I mean).

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm well aware that Brock Rumlow is Crossbones. I admit I was disappointed in Frank Grillo's original casting as Rumlow not because he wasn't a good actor, but because he simply wasn't large enough to be the physically imposing Crossbones that I was familiar with from the comics. But recognizing how few good actors are out there that do fit that physique, I understand that a compromise was necessary. And Grillo's performance won me over in TWS. Given the end of that movie, this Crossbones look is about as good as I could expect for CW. It's definitely on my wish list, but will likely wait on ordering (unless it's an exclusive).

True, I did think that he didn't fit the physique as well but thoroughly enjoyed Grillo's performance. Judging by his design here as Crossbones though, it looks like they'll be compensating for it through the pneumatic gloves.

nah, they're camo. they could be a shade darker.. but the ones from the on set photos aren't black. they look black in some photos though, so i understand the confusion.

I may buy a 2nd one of these just to cut the sleeves off and make a somewhat more comic accurate Crossbones with a big ass gun.

This figure actually looks really cool. I was absolutely averse to getting one because I absolutely detested Rumlow in TWS (not that he was badly portrayed or anything, just thought he was a huge prick ) but I may contemplate picking one of these up.

Not bad! His role in the movie will determine, for me, if I buy it or not

For me I'll need either the mask to be removable, or a separate Frank Grillo headsculpt to be included.
