i think most ppl set those arm in wrong position. pls refer to the photo, AOU and HT 1/4 MK45. MK45 should not be smooth shoulder. 13315726_1289452214417308_5060127066710978999_n.jpg13336021_1289451977750665_352474083790092256_n.jpg13406810_1289455137750349_5861366665739753201_n.jpg13413628_1289452061083990_5780452210221037547_n.jpg13418750_1289452114417318_5315195227809138028_n.jpg13423802_1289452174417312_4843769532962474709_n.jpg

What's wrong with the color? Looks fine to me, and I'm quite the stickler for screen accurate colors on the armors... I won't buy an HT Iron Man figure if the color is off, but HT is usually spot on... I'm still waiting to see HT correct the color on War Machine mk3, it sucks because I love the armor but it just doesn't look right to me still and I won't order it unless it does.

To be clear, I'm not complaining about the colour. I like the figure a lot. But 'people' in general are still going on about the Mark III diecast even (and the 50 different colours it can appear as depending on which prop they use, or the lighting in a scene etc, etc... so I'm suprised the colour hasn't been criticised..

But I'd have said the figure as a whole looks more 'metallic' than the figure, if one was to nitpick... In terms of actual colour, I really like what they've done with the prototype shots of the quarter scale figure.. accuracy or not.

Whoa nice pic :drool

I'm trying to pick between the 45 and Ultron, appreciate any input!

defintitely the mark 45, probably the best engineered iron man figure. very sturdy
and feels good in hand! and its also cheaper than ultron prime. you can see HT have
put extra effort on its engineering and paint work. truely a landmark iron man figure.

If it was ultimate ultron I'd say the chose would be harder but it's not. Also mark 45 to me will be the first Ironman I've bought because the rest didnt wow me. I'd say get 45. I think he will sell out sooner than prime to.

Thank you both!

QUICK REVIEW

I have to say that this figure really impresses me. I didn't plan on getting this figure, but now that I have it, I'm really glad that I have it. So here's my quick thought.

PROS
+ Joints are strong
+ Excellent and improved engineering
+ Came with nice diorama and fire/laser effect accessories
+ Articulation has been improved so this figure is fun to pose
+ Looks awesome

CONS
- No Tony Stark headsculpt
- Expensiveeee :panic:
- The repulsor blaster uses new type of batteries which are smaller than the usual one. I'm having trouble finding this very very small batteries.
- The lights on the hands don't really light up the repulsor fire effect.
- Still no light ups for foot repulsor.
- Still very minimal neck articulation.

OVERALL: This is definitely the best Iron Man figure so far from Hot Toys. Really worth it.
