I want this figure. Can't afford it at all. By the time I could it'll be double the price [emoji58][emoji58][emoji58][emoji58]

You should've saved a dollar a day when this went up for preorder lol. You would've had enough for the figure + shipping and a little left over by the time it hits the U.S. That's nuts.

It's more of an issue of HotToys making more figures I want.

I'm getting BvS Bat and Supes, Knightmare Bats possibly WW if I like the final result.

I've literally hot 1 figure and that DX12 and I'm probably selling that to fund what I've mentioned.

This is insanity in one year!!! [emoji31][emoji31][emoji30]

A question on the design of the suit. Not that it was shown on screen, if 45 has the forearm rocket feature, where would it be? The laser sits at that exact spot...Would it be like 6 with the smaller rockets/grenades?

The figure does become more and more appealing. I'm suprised though. I was expecting lots of complaints on the colour tones of the red :dunno

my guess would be that, if he built missiles or guns into the armor, they'd be the shoulder/collar area type weapons.

i think the lasers are very useful, especially since it seems like he may have solved the one-off problem. but i like when these armors also have standard weaponry as well.

i think the war machine mark 3 has had the best weaponry yet out of any of the suits (that we've seen anyways).. well, maybe not the "best" but the coolest looking.

Wow. If I was new to collecting and I can only get one Iron Man figure, the Mark 45 is the one to get. It is, as described by Clipper, sexy as ****.

What's wrong with the color? Looks fine to me, and I'm quite the stickler for screen accurate colors on the armors... I won't buy an HT Iron Man figure if the color is off, but HT is usually spot on... I'm still waiting to see HT correct the color on War Machine mk3, it sucks because I love the armor but it just doesn't look right to me still and I won't order it unless it does.

I don't know, I think if someone was only going to have one and liked the look of the 45 I would think waiting for the 46 would be a better choice. The 46 has almost all the same design elements when it comes to the more 'sexy' and 'organic' tech look plus the multiple mini repulsors all over it. The difference is like the difference between the IV and VI, same basic design but with a significant difference in an improvement of 'repulsor technology' on the later.

Or...you could change your criteria from "one Iron Man figure" to "one Iron Man figure per year," then get both the 45 and 46. ;) :lol

That's what many here do :) If I was just collecting Iron Man I could do that, but with other Marvel characters and Star Wars that's not something I can do. I only have the MK III and MK 33 as I like how they call back to armors in the comics. I'm thinking I'll pass on both the 45 and 46, but because the 46 has so many call backs to the Bleeding Edge Armor in the comics that is the one that would tempt me over the 45.

But hey, for those who can have both, more power to them, it's not like the 45 isn't cool in of itself to have if you can and you like it.

Yeah, if I could only get one suit, I'd have a difficult time deciding between the 45 and 46. I think the design of the 45 looks slightly better overall, while the 46 was far more memorable and, like you said, strongly resembles the Bleeding Edge armor. Both suits look great, and I find that both of them are constantly competing with each other to claim the honor of being called my favorite suit. :lol

So I am guessing if these two are your favorites that you prefer the more 'organic' looking tech of these two over the previous versions. Perhaps the 42/43 is a bridge armor between the organic look and the traditional 'suit of armor' look? Not sure how to classify the earlier armors that aren't 'organic' in design as the 45/46 armors.

As much as I like the actual gold look of the faceplate on this, I still think it looks very "bug-eyed".

I am not a huge fan of the organic look… but on the opposite end, I do like the look of the Mark 46
and the faceplate seems to go back to that smaller-eyed faceplate. Will probably just wait until
next year for that one.
