Actually, I'm not really keen on him...I have been waiting for Kei, but oh well...looks like this is going more and more likely to be a one figure only series...*sigh*

Harlock is not doing well, they might end up not doing this figure now. I hope they still do though.

oh they'll do the figure no doubt. the only question is how many characters.

So the throne is sold separately, HT finally learning some moves from Sideshow.

Good thing Captain Hardock is Japanese, if not it'll probably end up like Batman, having to stand aside & make way for Ironman Anime series before making it to the spot light.

So is the new film not so great? Bit of a shame. I think I'll buy the chair from Hot Toys and then track down the Medicom Harlock. That way I can get a representation of the definite Harlock, avoid giving Hot Toys money (to an extent), and get a sweet chair.

Only thing that worries me is that the Medicom one might not be able to sit. Anyone know if it can?

Available around August 2014...No mention of Kei whatsoever, I am pissed...

The figure as it seems impressive.

Regardless of that movie is, I've always wanted a pirate, with those characteristics in my collection

Looks pretty awesome I was going to pick up the PAK figures, but I think I'll just get Harlock and his throne and call my collection done.

Looks like he has molded hair, still awesome anyway. I would seriously consider getting him if they have Kei. Just imagine Harlock in his chair with Kei standing in a saucy pose next to him...That's dynamite!

Not a big fan of the source material, but damn if that isn't a bad-*** looking figure.

oh my god! harlock looks so boss! ht did not disappoint with this figure at all. I love his look in the movie so this is already an instant buy. really epic. they better make kei. this figure can not get here quick enough for me.

The only decent non live action based figures HT did are the Appleseed, 2/3 of the Resident Evil lineup, 20th Century Boys, Golgo & Avatar.

Metal Gear Solid = fail
City Hunter = fail
Assassin Creed = fail
Batman Arkham = fail

Price with the chair (stated JP retail) 42000 yen = 34000 (Generally, 20% off stated retail)....

SO,....Through SSC you're looking at approx: USD350 or more

I believe there no chair option for USD 250 or so (maybe around 200)
