Drax coming and he was dropped from all the recent toy shows so I'm convinced ALIEN line including Rip will happen..it will be out of the blue as usual...

Doubt it at this stage drax is part of the marvel universe something ht is big into.It was inevitable theyd do him , aliens on the other hand hasn't been covered by ht since about 2006.

And will there be any further figures at all. Aliens, marines etc.

I say Aliens only because I know other people want them, I personally would only be interested in marines as the Aliens probably won't be even close to accurate. Quite possibly nor will the marines but I won't find inaccuracies with those quite as ruinous.

Since all the work is basically done on this R&D of this figure -- both Ripleys, really -- and because she'd be a relatively simple one to produce, I would expect to see them both released at some point. Along with a re-release the Big Chap. Especially if they're just re-using the existing molds for the Power Loader (and possibly Big Chap). I would bet it's just a matter of finding a production slot in between all the big license releases. Such slots are getting harder and harder to find these days.

But I wouldn't expect too many more of these "legacy" releases from HT in the future. Too many behemoth licenses to juggle and not enough weeks in a year. If anything, Marvel, DC and Star Wars are only going to speed up.

Im not really bothered wheither they release ripley or not any more. This whole saga has dampened my enthusiasm for the figure. The only thing im willing to shell out money for now are the colonial marines 2.0 and no exceptions.

I'm still looking forward to Ripley and believe she'll be along sooner or later. Ripley is my #1 most wanted figure and has been since I started collecting 20 years ago. Nothing Hot Toys does will change the fact that she's #1 on my list and always will be until I have her in hand.
