In my opinion the v1 sculpt is pretty bad. Like a bad sculpt all around from the size to the skin color to the pink mouth to the expression to the likeness.

I reckoned it was the height of the forehead and height of the hair.
I did a simple dremelling of a head and tried a plasticene resculpt with it lower and i reckon it made a bit of a difference.
Not a huge difference, but a difference.

I think you could be right. I did a Photoshop of the original head, but with the hair lowered about 3mm. He does look better. I'd be curious about how he'd look with the cap on.

I just bought some of the capped hair parts from TA.
I will do some alterations to a PT1 head to fit the cap and hair onto that, and i will post pics when i get that done.

I bought one of those 1/6 wild gunman. The quality is very below par. It's a good start. I totally ripped mine apart and rebuilt the entire thing. I'd say it isn't worth the price you pay for it. Stickers were falling off and very pixelated, the paint was terrible and there were finger print glue marks all over mine. Shop at your own risk. The following pictures are after the rebuild. Not quite finished yet though. I'm just waiting for the glass in the front and the new decals that are getting printed. Also I felt it needed to glow when turned on so I added lights to the wild gunman logo and a lighted screen.

Wow. Mine came today. I sure wish I had asked about it before ordering one. Certainly not worth the cost for something so hastily put together. I'm not as crafty, but maybe I'll try doing something like you did.

Yeah. I was pretty disappointed when mine showed up too. You don't have to go to the extent I'm going to but I can take some pictures of how I did the screen if anyone is interested. It's really not that hard.

Anybody thought about making 1950s Marty from dance scene? I’ve been looking for 1/6 scale suits that might work but was hoping someone already has done this and can tell me what they used.

Would love to see this suit and guitar! I would get another Marty to display this.

Thanks crazygmpoker!!! Yeah I was surprised how much more the likeness came out with the glasses on and hair. Unfortunately I don’t think Marty wears the glasses with the vest in the movie lol. So went with the intro “power of Love” scene.

I’m really loving this sculpt. I think it’s close to 100%. Excited to see what jnix does with Marty. A little tip guys I noticed when the head is pushed all the way down his shoulders appear too high. I simply push the head up a little to give better proportions. Take it for what it’s worth.

Received mine from kghobby. Both exclusive versions. Took 3 days to arrive which is quick. For now, Ive settled on this setup. I may change up my delorean/pt1 marty display, but for now this will do

I tried the BTTF2 hair on the BTTF Marty head. It looks okay. Doesn't fit perfectly, but i reckon it looks better than the original BTTF hair. Sorry. I didn't notice the bit of fluff on the headsculpt's nose when i was taking the pics, lol.

The part1 sculpt seems more fitting for the 2015 sculpt and vice versa. I would love to do this myself but fear screwing it up. Nice work.

Seeing the pt1sculpt with the hat on is near perfect to look marty has when he steps out of the alley in 2015

It was quite a frankenstein job on this first one. I reckon i'd be able to streamline it a bit if i ever have to make another one. For starters, i know exactly how much of the PT1 head i need to remove to fit the hair, lol.

Yeah. It actually looks great. But i did repaint the hair under the hat to be a bit lighter than the standard colour on the hairpiece.
If i can make a latex mould of the main PT2 hair, i can maybe make an Aves "wig" for the PT1 head also.
I'll post pics of it if it works.
