got my alien today and customs hammered me with an wrong tax declaration. DHL didn't care about the shipping costs from sideshow and estimated shipping costs (350 euro) onto the 1883,99 US Dollar from sideshow. Now i can look how i get a refund ... :mad:

no, i'm from germany and i'll be charged around 385 - 400 euro taxes and customs :dunno

mine was estimated for today, but it is held by customs. hopefully they are fast

yes, thats exactly what i did. somewhere i read that you have a chance to get some statues earlier, because you don't have a fixed date for the payment. can't tell if this helps with an order like the dog, or if the shipment will be random

i ordered day one too, payed with the payment plan and switched with the last payment to full. don't know if this was helpful in any way to get one of the first sideshow batch, but i won't complain

well that sucks ... but i suspected something like this. i was really excited and ordered the first day. i hoped it would be shipped in my vacation. i'll try and wait for the mail instead of check every day with my account :impatient:

does anyone know how sideshow fullfills their orders? first come first serve? or random?

my order hasn't updated, but when i throw the alien in the shopping card, it shows $190 shippingcosts to germany... hurts ... but i was afraid, it would be higher than this. taxes and customs will really hurt my wallet. 22.5% on product price + shipping is no joke :cuckoo:

i am afraid these will hurt really bad. but this is the only way to get the ex for me and i was in love all this years ago, when CP showed the first proto ... so i have to bite the bullet, this one is a must for me.

i doubt we will see the alien this month. there isn't a single pic out there with the finished product. most of the time a chinese collector has those prime1 statues a few weeks before they ship for the rest of us. i'd love to get my exclusive alien, but i don't see this one shipping any time...

i was really considering this statue when it was shown. and i am really glad i didn't pull the trigger when it was ready for pre order. this came out pretty bad and isn't worth the pricetag. sad to see, i hoped to see something great.
