Thanks for the feedback, Marine Boy. I see your point, but I can't say I agree complete. The term "scalper" doesn't even apply to a figure like the Big Chap Alien. That figure came out five years ago and has been long out of production, so it's not like sellers are buying up current store...

If you're looking for info we've got a large database of over 6,000 statues and busts at StatueHQ, image and info on most of them, plus a place to track your collection and a marketplace. As far as buying, I'd recommend using this site, Statue Forum and eBay.

Gentle Giant's quality is generally very good - I've had few busts that have paint issues, and I've bought many GG busts over the years. I've only had a couple of the Marvel busts (Spider-Woman and Black Widow) but was really happy with the way they turned out.

I have never cared for Beavis and Butthead, but despite that and despite the fact that they are super creepy, I have to admit that they are *awesome*!
