Batman Returns is a classic and some would argue better than the 1989 movie but I like them about the same. Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!! They will probably be made of the same materiel as the figures capes and they must have not used enough oil in them. As the capes and some of the outfits especially the BTAS Riddler are always producing some sort of oily residue.:(

It could also be mattel making sure that there ears are reinforced enough not to break from them using cheap plastic which is also quite likely.

Because they cant make figures anymore with sharp hard pointy edges that are available in toy stores aimed at kids (they did back in the 70s/80s but there was less molly coddling then).
