I liked the original prototype colors better but I still like what I see. Wouldn't mind seeing a proper pic of the figure and accessories though.

A 1/4 scale maybe. It's way too big for 1/6.

I think it looks great, definitely will be picking this one up. Wish he came with a spiked baseball bat though.

Pretty much. By the sounds of things they had to pull off some miracles to make sure they had the funds to keep going. This figure isn't listed in Diamond so they'll save some money and by making it limited, it helps with the exposure they've lost not going through Diamond and helps expedite sales.

I have a feeling the limited release has to do with the problems they had with the Amy Pond figure.

Re: New Doctor Who 1:6 and 1:4 from Big Chief Studios! It probably is a case of being overwhelmed due to staffing shortages. They're still trying to get Amy out and if I recall correctly, they want Tom Baker's Doctor out for Q1 2013 as well. Not to mention the expansion packs.
