1/6 BvS: Dawn of Justice - Armored Batman (2.0) (Deluxe Version)

I think that comparison photo they included is hilarious personally. It looks like the same exact figure. Yeah, I see minor differences but the new 2.0 doesn’t curb stomp the old one. The biggest change is actually having the bat symbol on the chest underneath, cool being able to see it but, ehhh.

The coolest feature is being able to swap out the regular and battle damage pieces. That’s what the first one should have been from the beginning. 10 years too late though.

If the damaged head looked like this one on the right, then they would have had my attention.



The faces Hot Toys goes for are so goofy.

Hopefully, these 2.0s will be the last of these BVS figures.

Maybe I'm harsh but that HT face makes the battle damage look unusable. He looks bored, not consumed with murderous rage.

I think that’s what can be so frustrating about HT. They can get it just close enough but somehow still miss the mark unfortunately, even if it’s just by a little

It's certainly not what I would have picked but it does represent a similar look during the movie.

It's almost like the priority should be accuracy, not realistic looking, and close enough.

This is my most wanted reissue and I am glad they did. Although I am confused whether i should go for the deluxe or standard version.

1. I am not a fan of the BD version and I am fine if I don't get it.
2. The diorama base is awesome but seems to be hidden by the figure as he is a beast.
3. My Inart Superman has Spear already. This spear will become redundant, although I would love the light up version if it is bright enough to pop in the display and not dull like the sabers they do.
4. The head is also usb powered right? In the pics it is not mentioned.

Would love to have some suggestions and thoughts by other's as well

Bk I would suggest you to go with the standard version bro, as
1. You are not into BD.
2. It doesn't look that great either; the BD headsculpt is not worth it cause of that confused Penguin mouth expression and likeness, damage on chest piece and the base itself looks very toy like. And I'm afraid they are gonna half-ass it like they did their Tactical Batman 2.0 and Iron Man Mark III 2.0 diorama bases.
3. We are gonna get the spear with Inart's Supes anyway. And I guess it's diecast.

It's a good option though for those who never got the chance to get the original releases and are not sure about IA doing it later down the road.

And yes, the eyes are USB powered buddy.

Excellently put bro. Only thing undecided is, the green light powered by USB. I love figures that have light-up which pops in the display and have ordered some kits from fusion reactors.

Other thing is I will be getting max 1-2 figures next year and another extra 6000 rupees(70USD) won't bother much. Even though I don't like the BD face, maybe I can just change the BD version once in 2-3 months if I am bored? Or sell it if I am not interested. Also i think it has another cape too which I can use.

Well from where would you order it bro? And if Sideshow, I believe they are gonna ship to India via DHL. How's the customs situation there lately?
I got a Threezero Premium Optimus Prime delivered to Pakistan through them (Sideshow 》DHL) and had to pay around $720 to Customs yeah that's correct $720. Way more than what that f**ckin figure actually cost me. Illiterate b*stards said no no no it's a goddamn robot, not a toy.
So please keep that in mind as well before choosing your preferred shipping carrier. All the best bro!

Yeah, that’s the thing, that’s his face where he gets in touch with the fact that feeling helpless at witnessing his parents’ murder as a child has been unconsciously running his life, etc.

And the rage face is cool too, I like it as well! But just saying that this lost in thought face is the dramatic climax of the movie.

Haha Deluxe it is. From your insider info to ordering the figure, we have come a long way.
Customs is horrible. They charge upto 90 or even 110 percent which is day light robbery (under valuation is done. So it's better). No way sideshow bro. If I do so, I ship it to my US friends and they bring me here after some months without any hassles or custom fees.

WTF. 720USD. Damn that's insane bro. And DHL is the worst courier company to exist.

We have a retailer here in India who luckily got official distribution with Sideshow and the prices are almost the same after taxes and shipping to US. So no worries about paying customs anymore as they will handle it.

It is funny how people think our countries are under developed while we have to pay more for everything including collectibles and electronics which are so costly compared to other countries

Bah, I went ahead and ordered the Deluxe version. It bothers me though, because we may get the same figure only better from InArt. And honestly, to me the 1.0 plastic version looks amazing. But there actually aren’t all that many characters that really excite me enough to buy figures for, so I guess it’s okay to treat myself to this indulgence.

I have to accept that as a Snyderverse and LotR collector now that InArt’s in the game I’m going to have to start selling some of the figures in my collection to make room for the improved versions.

Oh, and I’d completely forgotten that I also have the standard suit BvS Batman 2.0 on preorder as well!

When do we think this figure will actually release?

Haha we are kind of in the same boat bud, now my dad ships them to me via USPS as gifts or along other needed stuff. And for the last 3 figures, it's little to no Custom fees at all
