The Ledger Joker threads are the only threads that make me sit back and realize that half the participants are on the spectrum and the other half are mentally ill. My god. The mod says no more crustom talk, and then BAM, that’s all that’s posted. Been like this consistently since 2008! Insanity.

KIT, WHERE IS MY RADIO DETONATOR!?!?

IRIS has always been my personal favorite.
I like that Iris actually did the dotted pinstriping on the pants instead of the standard that so many others do. I think Iris is the only one to have done that on the pants to my knowledge. The purple coat is the main thing that's lacking on that set, but otherwise, it's definitely one of the best ones out there.

Thanks man ! Now Inart needs to do it.
Would mean that they'd needs to tackle seamless bodies or at least semi-seamless.
I remember reading somewhere that WB won't give approval to Nurse Joker for some lame reason like the No guns thing

I'm particularly impressed with the sculpt. It really fits the look. I wonder if the reason companies haven't tackled a nurse Joker comes down to licensing. Maybe DC doesn't want it made for some reason. I've only seen a couple instances maybe of a licensed nurse figurine.

Maybe nurse Joker portrays cross-dressers in a negative light...

It'll be the same sort of warped mentality that compelled Russell T Davies to completely strip away every unique aspect of the classic Doctor Who villain and creator of the Daleks, Davros, until all that remained was a generic, Nazi-esque white man.

Yes exactly. Something showing the profession in a bad way. Something like that. WB and their boomer thoughts

Don't start me on how RTD ruined DW, I might go Joker level of insanity.

This is a Q&A that was published on Hot Toys Japan about 10 years ago.
https://www.hottoys.jp/magazine/ask/635.html

“Q : Various versions of the Joker from The Dark Knight have been released, including a police officer and a bank robber, but will there not be a Joker in a nurse costume?

A : Joker's nurse appearance is the version that Hot Toys wanted to achieve. It was difficult to get approval from the copyright holder for this project, but after many negotiations, they finally gave the OK and we decided to ask director Christopher Nolan to confirm it.

I had the honor of being contacted directly by Director Nolan. However, director Nolan had a strong will that the Joker's nurse appearance was not suitable for commercialization due to the unfortunate incident with Heath Ledger.

Mattel and other manufacturers have not commercialized the official nurse uniform version. We decided to respect director Nolan's sentiments.”
