I’d be safe and still make regular payments. JazzInc’s website mentions that you have to make a payment at least every three months, or it could get cancelled.
Definitely this.
Joost is so accommodating regarding payment as it is, and they are a small family owned business. Don’t dick them over by withholding payments regularly.

If anyone has one of these signs for the 1989 batmobile they're willing to sell, please let me know.

Thanks!

I recently watched a YouTube video featuring the Batmobile 2022 by Rudy’s 1/6 World. In the video, there was a mention of loose wheels on the model. I'm curious to know if this is intentional design or a defect? It seems some people are considering canceling their preorders due to this issue. I hope Joost will address this concern, as I believe with the current strong support, this vehicle could really put Jazzinc on the map. I'm eager for the 1989 model to be excellent. And of course I look forward to updated design on the front turbine. Joost please take your time for this vehicle.

I have this vehicle and it’s absolutely not an issue. The wheels are big, they’re heavy, they’re well supported, and they’re fully posable. It’s interesting that someone would use the term “loose” to describe that. There’s nothing that’s actually going to come apart.

If there are people that are really considering canceling their order over that, then I would suggest that they were probably already looking for an out on their preorder. I suppose when you make a bad FOMO purchase decision, it saves a bit more ridicule to say you’re cancelling over some non-existent defect, rather that admitting that you were a sheep caught up in the moment. Such is the way of social media, I suppose.

. . . but if that means someone is going to be able to sell me one of the jazzinc signs I’ve been after. . . ;)

The wheels are exactly as intended and designed like the McPherson construction used on the actual vehicle. The axles are ¼ inch solid steel and if it were actually too loose the wheels would just completely sag in the wheel wells. This reminds me of the final episode of friends where Phoebe convinces everyone on the plane there is a missing 'phalange'

Great that we now know that it’s by design. Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.

I really hope the extra, final feature is a sitting Batman. That would be awesome.

Mention of 1/12 1989 Batmobile......

I’m wondering if there should be a dedicated more general Jazzinc thread. Joost makes a lot of interesting points in this, especially about the potential figures and the murky world of likeness approvals etc.
