Will these make their way to other retailers?

Mondo has tax - $20 is not a lot but adds up when buying many figures.

I own the timed edition Gambit but thinking of getting an extra Standard Gambit (also Rogue, after I pay flippers for the Limited) for a separate display of just them two together.

Damn, was gonna save up some to get that after the Rogue. Guess I don't really care as much about the EX parts on this one though.

I guess the lineup photos made people want to "collect them all"!

I think Rogue just had more courage and eyes than the other releases. She was way more hyped than the rest of their line up. Might have brought on a bunch of people who didn't know this line existed until now.

Reg Gambit sold out at Mondo shop. BBTS has him for pre-order $270.

Entertainment Earth has him for $210

$225 at Sideshow.

Wasn’t Regular edition Gambit originally $200?

$270 at BBTS is highway robbery - usually they bake in some shipping costs but this is a huge mark up.

SSC is $225 and EE is $210.

I guess my plan not to buy direct from Mondo to save on tax sort of backfired - I own the Timed Gambit but want a spare Regular for a separate display. I’ll hold out for Timewalker since no tax, free shipping and usually at least $10 below SSC. Otherwise I’m going with EE.

All part of Mondo’s master plan to drive fans to buy early and direct from the source.

Yes it was.
I said BBTS price is much higher than the Timed Edition version, which is $215.
So not only it's higher than the regular edition, it is also way above the Timed edition version.

Yeah, that’s crazy how they’re charging so much more for the collectors edition, and the timed edition was in fact much cheaper. FYI, I just ordered my second gambit from entertainment earth. He was about 226 shipped. There is a code for the free shipping.Free USA Shipping with Code WINTER79

I think in the end this is cheaper than purchasing directly at Mondo!

Seeing the rogue made me feel like wanting to get the whole X-Men animated line from mondo but I just got the limited edition rogue, a regular rogue to display with one of the non stock heads and a regular gambit. I had some self control lol. If they redo Wolverine, I will probably pick him up too.

Probably just gonna stick to the heroes for X-Men animated... I will have to decide on cyclops next I guess when they show his prototype.

Rogue pushed me into the line as well. I have been appreciating the line as its been going, but Rogue was too good not to get started,

There’s a possibility Mondo will re-visit Wolverine based on the popularity of the character and I also believe that original figure was sculpted and designed by a different artist.

Mondo was semi serious/joking around at one of the livestreams that they may revisit Wolverine since that is the only figure not crafted by their current artist (forget his name).

Rogue alone was the tipping point to collect the line? What if Mondo had released her earlier?

Also I think seeing all the heroes and villains lined up together as a group in a couple of the Mondo promo pics gave collectors FOMO.

I wouldn't be playing catch up right now.

The aftermarket prices are high for these.. Omega Red is very expensive!
I can't even find a Timed Edition Gambit on ebay.

Regular gambit I think is good enough..don't think the extra pieces that the timed edition gambit has is enough to pay after market prices
