Figure and statue groups I’m in shared the Mondo post yesterday so I understand the quick sellout.

I got the print and the Rogue ex. Was such a battle because my internet connection is slow.
Didn't expect Rogue to sold out that fast!

That's probably the fastest I've seen their Ex version sell out. Glad I grabbed her when it went up.

For me the surprising thing is getting the poster.. never had such luck before on Mondo with limited ed art prints/posters!

It would have sold out fast regardless but the Limit of 3 per customer would encourage scalpers to buy multiples to flip.

Should I expect to pay double for the Rogue EX on the aftermarket?

I want to say I paid around $390 recently for the MOTU He-Man Timed/EX on Mercari - don’t recall how much that originally sold for through Mondo.

He was $260. I imagine Rogue Ex will be more sought after in the aftermarket though.

A YouTube collector channel (Mad Hatter Reviews?) said the Mondo posters are like a “myth” because they are so difficult to obtain.

I’ve had better luck with Bottleneck Gallery posters - they sell fast but not as quick as Mondo.

Probably because BNG has a regular print in addition to many variants - multiple color swaps, metal prints, acrylic prints, 3D lenticular, etc.

Very true!
So far I've only managed to get about 3 or 4 Mondo limited-ed posters.
That is not a lot compared to the ones I've missed..

This one is relatively slow to sell out because I managed to refresh the page several times before it eventually sold out. Took about 3-4 mins.
Usually, it is sold out when I'm at the processing payment page. XD Within seconds!

Well damn, that went fast. i wonder how difficult it would be to grab the evolution head later off ebay.

I was able to get an ex..ordered right at 10am and yah it was gone within 5 minutes. Mondo I think messed up in not making this a timed version..they could have sold way more.

The seller does look legit, has 100% feedback (180) and been an Ebayer since 2012.

A couple recent actual completed/verified sales from this eBayer were flipping sold out items:

• $500 - NECA TMNT Sewer Liar
• $2,000 - BVS (Batmobile 1:6 JazzInc).

slight markups but collectors are willing to pay.

Can’t even offer free shipping at that price.

I’m so happy was able to get one I was toying around in their site moments before it went up and I was logged in. Was easy and she was available for about 20min. At least there’s a regular for these 2.

The regular is still up I even got an email linking it to her ..I guess people said meh to the regular

They limited the exclusive Rogue to 3 per customer and it still sold out in minutes …those bots . I was on the countdown when I got the exclusive Rogue and even setting up the payment plan with her …it still went smooth in ordering . Wish the NECA or Mcfarlane could be this smooth on exclusives

Probably a marketing ploy to create hype around the X-Men line.

I just started watching the replay for Mondo’s own livestream for the figure, which i think went live a half dozen hours after the figure sold out

they’re saying Storm is leading in the poll of what figure should be done next (after the ones they’ve already announced).
