Isn’t KGhobby $120 cheaper then Gundamit (more if you do Full Pay with 3% discount)?
Although it might be about the same depending on how much KG charges for shipping. I think it was $97 to the U.S. if you do a full pay checkout payment.
Gundamit has shipping included and a lower deposit @$150.

It's a crazy good deal, i don't think i can pay less than $100 shipping by boat (3 month) to the States

It varies. Spec carries the cheapest price for the premium but KGhobby carries the cheapest for the deluxe. It's mainly from the 3% discount of paying full and shipping is also their slowest. If I was going for the deluxe, I would go with Gundamnit. If going for premium, go with Spec.

I haven't placed my order yet, debating between KGHobby or Specfiction for the Premium. I am in Canada and always worry about customs and duties. How are they in terms of custom charges (ie. marking down value)? I heard KGHobby is good with that.

Keep in mind that’s an estimate and will depend on how many get made, how many alterations they do up to release, and I suppose the rest of their release schedule.
The preorders for this everywhere close March 1st, so no need to worry about Spec changing his shipping prices on either set if you go with him.
They’re saying diecast parts on the pistol, no mention about exactly how much, no mention of wood. Red suit and checkered suits will now have wires in the hem. Nothing on getting accurate pant flares yet, lengthening the waistcoat, or altering the paint apps to be more accurate to the Murray scene.
Does this mean there are 4 bases now? Or are 4-pack buyers still short one base for Clown Joker?
Edit: Reading comprehension issue on my part. I read "hospital scene" and thought "bathroom scene." Might push me towards the 4-pack. Don't love/need the Clown look but two additional figures for less than $500 is a good deal.

Where have they specifically said they’ll be doing this? To my knowledge, all they said is that they’d be doing “optimizations to the collar of the red suit and other costume details” in their most recent post.

They posted some slides earlier today. I'm not sure if there being wires is a new addition though. Pretty sure those were always there and they're pointing it out as a "feature" that they added during the making of the outfit. Similar to how Ledgers Joker jacket had wires on the bottom. Does seem to confirm that the pistol included is diecast though. Same for some parts of the chair.

Ah, thank you. Not seeing where they mentioned anything based on what Nick D said where they’d be “altering the paint apps to be more accurate to the Murray scene.” Unless that’s referring to the “imprint from the clown mask on Arthur’s head.”

"rooted hair hospital scene head" still confuses me, do they mean the green hair of the head cap? To me that wouldn't really be a rooted head sculpt since the cap is removable as they've shown, and the green hair is just a bunch of glued on fabric, I wish I knew what they meant lol

I never said they confirmed those things, which is why I said “nothing on… yet”.
Those are things we want to hear they’ve done regarding improvement, they did say the shirt collar will be improved along with “other red suit details” but never clarified what details they’d be. This is why I took a bit of pause, it would be disappointing to get some revisions but not the ones that matter most.
I’m out of it. Shouldn’t be online while I’m at work.
And yes, those are the things we want to hear back on. I’m betting we will once they do an optimization update post similar to when they did it for Aragorn and Batman. I didn’t even realize the suit pants should be more baggy 80s style with a full break otherwise I would’ve included that in the post I did on FB to catch their attention on that. Hopefully they do, it’s a signature detail that even the costume designers make note of. The lengthened waistcoat is a must. I hope the makeup face paint is part of the “other costume details.”
Yeah I’m sure they’ll do little tweaks here and there, as they usually do. But I would prefer confirmation on inclusion of these details by the March 1st closing window for po.
I’m considering ordering the Premium version and it’s very expensive to order on hope. I wish the herringbone pattern on the bathroom and hospital pants was actually herringbone material instead of printed lines but I don’t see that happening.
I hope so too. I’ve been “pestering” them on FB. If they come out with that post, that’ll lead me to placing an order for the Deluxe. For me the face paint needs to be addressed. It can be so much better..
