    Hasbro TOYFAIR Marvel Stuff

They need to follow Mattel's example and cater to the collector, and just admit that they needed to adjust to a more demanding consumer. I like what Marvel toys has done with thier Pitt and Monkey Man build ups, although thier base figures are still a touch puny. So I take it this is why the...

    Hasbro TOYFAIR Marvel Stuff

Hasbro needs to stop embarassing themselves. So far Wendigo and Hercules are the only two half descent figures they have made after taking over from Toy Biz (who really didn't make that many good figures either outside of the build a figures like Galactus and The Sentinel). I'm more of a...

Elvira 12" figure from Amok Time

Rondo is listing at $49.99 as well. That's a very fair price I think. Man, if they make Karloff as The Wurdulak I'll be in heaven.

You just can't keep a good Monster down. :frank

Elvira 12" figure from Amok Time

Yeah, I wouldn't get my hopes up yet for the Betty Page figures, it looks like a quick head swap on top of the cy girl base body. I really like the head sculp on the Blood of Dracula teen, now if only they make I Was a Teenage Werewolf it would really fill the 12" monster void.

Will we see new Vintage Monster items for Toy Fair 2008?

I've never seen any of The Phantom Creeps seriels. I wonder if it was Rondo or this robot that Rob Zombie wrote about in his "Meet the Creeper" song? Somewhere else here someone said that Amok Time will be doing a Tor Johnson figure, and maybe a set from Plan 9. That's another one Sideshow...

The Dead: The Babysitter - subject 1025

It took em long enough to make a female zombie, but at least they finally listened. I'm happy for the Shaun of the Dead fans, these generic zombies will be a perfect addition for the collection. Still, I'm pushing for even more originality, they need a fat guy zombie next, or a fat black guy...

Will we see new Vintage Monster items for Toy Fair 2008?

Amok Times is releasing Rondo Haton as "The Creeper", and then three figures from the original Night of the Living Dead. At least somebody has picked up the ball Sideshow dropped.

Creature From The Black Lagoon PF up for Pre-order!!!!!!!!!!

Predictably overpriced. It should cost no more than $225, I dont see any other "mixed media" used here as an excuse to enflate the price. This is a glorified oversized statue, with a rigid slant to it. Frankly the little Aurora snap together model from the 70's was just as dynamic. The...

    Sleepy Hollow (Headless HorseMan!)

I think Sleepy Hollow is something Medicom would do a better job of than Sideshow. There is just too much exquisite detail in the horseman's costume. A figure that would switch out heads would be awesome, a Hessian likeness, a rejuvinating skull, and of course a severed stump. Ichabod Crane...

    12" ANH Leia

I love the hieght of the new Leia figure, I think it's more in scale with the other characters/ figures. This shorter body would be perfect for Maleva the gypsy, or someone like Fay Wray. Hmmmn.....

things I want to see PF!!

I don't want anymore PF's. I'd like to see a return to 12'', particularly with the Universal monsters. Having said that, I'd still be tempted by a PF Chaney Hunchback strapped to the whipping wheel, or Melava the gypsy to display with The Wolf Man, and of course The Red Death Phantom with his...

    Night of the Living Dead....finally!

It's a shame that the most interesting horror figures are not being made by Sideshow anymore. I'll be getting the Rondo figure for sure, it will enhance my 12" Universal Monster collection.

    Elvira License

It will go good with the Jason and Freddy fans who collect the premiere fig...er statues, but not for me. I'd pass on Vampira too, although I would pick her up as a 1/6 possable figure, and a Bela and Tor to go with her.
